Raw Green Juice
After an indulgent family feast last night, I made the executive decision that brekky was going to have to be a light, healthy one! I raided the last of the veggies from my weekly veggie box and juiced them up!
Veggie juices don’t always look appetising, and let’s be honest … it takes a while to get used to the taste … but served in a glass jar with a straw and lots of ice, you’ll find it surprisingly refreshing … and addictive!
Why juice?
It’s a great way to jumpstart your body in the morning!
Because juicing separates the fibre from the rest, the digestive system gets a break while an array of vitamins, minerals and enzymes are immediately absorbed into the bloodstream.
Here is my basic green juice recipe.
Ingredients
2 apples
1/2 cucumber
1/2 bunch kale or spinach
2 large carrots
2 inch fresh ginger
Quarter lemon (peeled)
Ice
Method
Simply press the fruit and vegetables through the Juicer.
Serve in a jar with ice and a straw.
There are endless combinations and every day I read about something new and exciting to add to juices. Be creative, and have fun with it!
Happy juicing!

Beetroot smoothie bowl
I am honestly crazy about this smoothie bowl. I go to bed at night dreaming about it. I wake up thinking about it. The flavours burst forth with every mouthful. The crunch of the toasted coconut chips and the gooey tart goji berries create such a taste...
