Snack Attack Platter – Banana Boats, Honey Apple & Strawberries

It’s late afternoon, I haven’t even thought about dinner for my boys and they are begging me for food! I suggest fruit as a snack but they aren’t interested. I offer to make them a picnic and send them outside while I rack my brain for what I can quickly put together for a snack.

When I presented them with a platter of banana slices topped with peanut butter and a sprinkle of dark chocolate chips (we call these ‘banana towers’), apple slices drizzled in honey and fresh strawberries, my boys jumped up and down with excitement and polished off every piece of fruit including licking all the leftover honey from the platter.
